Armani Exchange Leather Hobo | Affordable Chic Teal Suede Trimmed Handbag

Armani Exchange Suede Trimmed HoboUntil I looked at the price tag I couldn't believe this sophisticated hobo bag came from Giorgio Armani's affordable diffusion line. It's so stylish and of such superior quality, it seems a steal at $280!
There's so much to like here, starting with that rich teal color. It's so deep that it's almost a neutral, so we can easily work it into our wardrobe while enjoying something more exciting than standard black or brown. The teal leather is complemented by wintery suede trim around the handles, flap, and base. Suede notoriously shows wear quickly, but by using it sparingly Armani makes sure this purse looks good for longer.
The teal shade is the ideal background for that shiny golden hardware. The metal really pops against the jewel-toned leather, making the purse appear that much richer. I'm also enamored with the handle. Who would have thought simply adding a few knots would make it appear so modern? I'm not sure how comfortable those knots will make carrying, but I'm willing to suffer a little for this dramatic look. At least there's another long strap available if it needles your shoulder.
Many designers spend so much time on the exterior they forget about what's inside. But not Armani, who offers all the pockets and space we need to get through the day.
Honestly I'm trying hard to find anything wrong with this purse. Perhaps it's one of those rare creatures without flaws, or perhaps its chic looks have blinded me!

Passchal Tractor Tire Tube Handbags | Chic Recycled Rubber Purses Help Illinois Lakes Community

Passchal HoboYou'd never guess that the chic bags from Passchal started their lives as tractor tire inner tubes. Today these scrap pieces of rubber form the sorts of accessories adored by celebs like Taylor Lautner and 90210 star Annalynne McCord.
"You would not think this is an inner-tube material," said Julie Serritella of Waukegan Tire, an Illinois tire shop who happily sells the handbags alongside auto accessories. "It is so pliable and soft and luxurious to the touch."
As each bag comes from a different tire tube, no two are exactly the same. Passchal's practice of reusing material destined for landfill, and trimming it in vegan leather, should please eco-conscious fashionistas.

What's most appealing though is that the green approach doesn't compromise style. There are more than 30 different designs available, from small credit card holders and clutches to larger briefcases and travel bags. These bigger bags are all cleverly fitted with interior lights to help you find your vital items easily.

The Passchal bags are available from the label's own website, but I'd suggest getting yours through Waukegan Tire. The store will donate 10% of each sale to the United Way of Lake County, a charity which focuses on improving the local community through educational and family-focused programs. What a great way to make your money go further!
